My name is Sander, and I’m a social psychologist and the founder of Natuurlijke Organisatie. Eleven years ago, I founded StoryDiggers, an agency that uses storytelling to drive strategy and change within larger organizations. What I’ve learned from all those projects is that real change doesn’t happen when you give people a message, but when you help them discover their own story and see how it fits into the bigger picture.

That connection is essential. And it literally requires space and attention. Indoors, to share stories with one another, listen to each other, and create culture. And outdoors, in nature, to not just conceive of that “purpose” but to truly feel it. That insight is at the heart of Natural Organization.

What nature teaches us about organizations. In nature, everything works together in harmony. Without central control, but with clear patterns and principles. Organizations are no different.
